On behalf of the Education Division at Sheikh Shakhbout Medical City (SSMC), we are delighted to welcome you to the 4th SSMC Education Week to be held on November 11-12, 2025, at the SSMC Auditorium and concluding on 15 November at the Grand Hyatt Abu Dhabi.

This year’s theme, In the Year of the Community: The Social Accountability of Healthcare Education, emphasizes connecting undergraduate healthcare education and graduate training with community needs, ensuring relevance, equity and quality, and building a future workforce that exceeds the expectations of the community. At SSMC, social accountability guides how we educate, collaborate, and measure impact, fostering sustainable change through community partnerships.

This year’s program hosts several distinguished clinical and education leaders from national, regional and international institutions, converging on a rigorous review of this widely evolving theme of great national importance.

We invite you to engage with the faculty in plenaries, panel discussions, workshops, poster sessions, and interactive booth activities across SSMC’s five education centers: Graduate Medical Education, Medical Student Education, Nursing Education, Health Sciences Education, and Workforce & Professional Development.
