It is our pleasure to invite you to the Cranial and Basic Echocardiography Ultrasound Courses, taking place on 09–10 October 2026 at Sofitel Abu Dhabi Corniche, UAE. These specialized courses are designed to provide healthcare professionals with practical, evidence-based training in neonatal ultrasound imaging, empowering participants to enhance diagnostic confidence and improve patient care through hands-on learning and expert guidance.
Ultrasound has become an indispensable tool in modern neonatal and paediatric practice, offering rapid, accurate, and non-invasive assessment of neurological and cardiovascular conditions at the bedside. As the role of clinician-performed ultrasound continues to expand, the need for structured training and competency-based education has never been greater.
The Cranial Ultrasound Course on 09 October 2026 will focus on a systematic approach to neonatal neuroimaging, covering normal anatomy, scanning techniques, and the recognition of common and complex neonatal brain pathologies. Participants will gain the knowledge and skills required to confidently perform and interpret cranial ultrasound examinations in daily clinical practice.
The Basic Echocardiography Ultrasound Course on 10 October 2026 will provide a practical introduction to neonatal echocardiography and bedside cardiac assessment. Through expert-led teaching and hands-on workshops, participants will learn standard echocardiographic views, image acquisition techniques, and the assessment of common neonatal cardiovascular conditions, including patent ductus arteriosus and persistent pulmonary hypertension of the newborn.
